Sharing traditions

All over Europe our calendars are punctuated by a sequence of specific National public days: Kūčios, Christmas, Mother’s or Father’s day, Sinterklaas, Bank Holiday and many more.
Do they make us more enthusiastic and committed to our societies or rather make us feel embarrassed about the collective events? Can those days be beneficial for the young people in order to thrive, to practice tolerance and face the challenges of existence?

The children in the age of 6 to 18 are now invited to admit their photos related to the National day. Any moment, yet of the sincere importance to the young photographer, caught on the day of celebration  (or in preparation to it) can be admitted to this site via

By the end of March all pictures will be uploaded here. A selection of 36 will tour as a joint exhibition in the participating countries - Belgium, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovenia, The Netherlands,  UK, Greece, Croatia and Italy.
The exhibition will be opened on May 5th 2017, at 11:30 in Museo delle Civiltà: Museo Nazionale delle Arti e Tradizioni Popolari
